H05V-K/H07V-K flexible copper cables are two types of low-voltage cables with excellent performance, mainly available in 1.5mm² and 2.5mm² specifications, with a rated voltage of 300/500V. Thanks to their excellent flexibility and stable electrical performance, they are widely used in various low-voltage electrical systems.​ In terms of specification parameters, the conductors of both cables are made of multiple strands of fine copper wires stranded together. The 1.5mm² conductor consists of approximately 50-60 strands of copper wires with a diameter of 0.15mm, while the 2.5mm² conductor is composed of 80-90 strands of the same specification copper wires. This structure endows the cables with excellent flexibility, with a minimum bending radius of 4-6 times the outer diameter of the cable, facilitating installation in narrow spaces and complex environments. In terms of conductivity, the DC resistance of the 1.5mm² conductor at 20℃ is not greater than 12.1Ω/km, and that of the 2.5mm² is not greater than 7.41Ω/km, ensuring efficient transmission of electrical energy. In terms of current-carrying capacity, the 1.5mm² cable has a current-carrying capacity of approximately 16-25A when laid in air, and the 2.5mm² cable is about 24-32A, which can meet the power supply needs of different power equipment. The insulation layers are all made of PVC material. The insulation thickness of H05V-K is about 0.8mm for 1.5mm² and 0.9mm for 2.5mm², while that of H07V-K is slightly thicker, 0.9mm and 1.0mm respectively. The dielectric strength exceeds 20kV/mm, and the insulation resistance is not less than 100MΩ·km at 20℃, effectively ensuring electrical safety. The long-term operating temperature ranges of the two cables are different: H05V-K is from -15℃ to 70℃, and H07V-K is from -25℃ to 80℃, which can adapt to the use requirements of different ambient temperatures.​ In terms of characteristic uses, these two cables have important applications in both civil and industrial fields. In home decoration, 1.5mm² cables are often used in lighting circuits and power supply for small household appliances, such as table lamps, televisions, electric fans, etc.; 2.5mm² cables are suitable for appliances with higher power, such as air conditioners, electric water heaters, microwave ovens, etc., which can stably carry their working current. In commercial places, such as shopping malls and hotels, they can be used in lighting systems, cash register equipment, and power supply lines of small air conditioning units. Their flexible characteristics facilitate laying in concealed spaces such as ceilings and wall interlayers. In the industrial field, the control lines of small mechanical equipment and the connecting lines of instruments and meters also often use these two cables. H07V-K is more suitable for use in industrial environments with slightly higher temperatures due to its wider temperature resistance range, such as internal wiring of equipment in small processing workshops. In addition, in temporary power supply scenarios, such as temporary lighting at construction sites and temporary electrical equipment for outdoor activities, these two cables can also play an important role, facilitating movement and arrangement.​ In terms of materials and styles, the conductor is made of high-purity electrolytic copper with a purity of over 99.95%, ensuring good conductivity and ductility. The insulation layer is made of PVC material, which has good insulation, oil resistance, and wear resistance, and can resist mechanical damage and chemical erosion in daily use. The cable is of a single-core style, with a circular appearance and a smooth surface. It comes in various colors, commonly black, gray, etc. The surface clearly prints information such as model, specification, and rated voltage, facilitating identification and selection.​ The performance advantages are significant. In addition to excellent electrical performance and flexibility, they also have good mechanical properties, with a tensile strength of not less than 12MPa and an elongation at break of not less than 150%, which can withstand stretching and bending during installation and use. At the same time, the PVC insulation material is self-extinguishing, which can self-extinguish when exposed to open flames, reducing fire hazards. Both cables comply with relevant international standards and domestic specifications and have passed strict quality inspections to ensure safety and reliability during use.​ In conclusion, H05V-K/H07V-K flexible copper cables, with their appropriate specifications, stable performance, and wide applicability, have become an indispensable part of low-voltage electrical systems, providing strong guarantees for the safe and stable operation of various electrical equipment.
