BV/BVR Single-Core PVC Insulated Cable 450/750V 0.75-25mm² RoHS Compliant for Building Wiring
BV/BVR single-core PVC insulated cables are commonly used in building wiring, with a rated voltage of 450/750V and cross-sectional areas ranging from 0.75mm² to 25mm². They fully comply with RoHS environmental standards and can meet the needs of various building electrical systems.
BV cables adopt a single solid pure copper conductor with a purity of over 99.95%. After annealing treatment, they have excellent conductivity (conductivity ≥58MS/m) and high mechanical strength, suitable for fixed wiring scenarios such as wall embedding and pipe laying. BV cables of different cross-sectional areas are suitable for different power requirements: 0.75mm² is applicable to small lighting fixtures, 1.5mm² can be used in general lighting circuits, 2.5mm² meets the power supply of ordinary sockets, 4mm² to 10mm² can carry high-power appliances like air conditioners and electric water heaters, and 16mm² and 25mm² are suitable for building main lines or power distribution systems.
BVR cables are multi-strand stranded pure copper conductors, also with high purity and excellent conductivity. They have better flexibility, with a minimum bending radius of 6 times the outer diameter of the cable, suitable for scenarios that require frequent bending or have narrow wiring spaces, such as wiring in ceilings and internal connections of equipment. The power adaptation range corresponding to their cross-sectional areas is consistent with that of BV cables.
The insulation layers of both cables are made of high-quality PVC materials, with thickness increasing from 0.6mm to 1.6mm along with the cross-sectional area. The insulation resistance is ≥100MΩ, which can withstand a 2kV power frequency withstand voltage test, effectively isolating current. The PVC insulation layer complies with UL94 V-0 flame retardant standards, self-extinguishing within 30 seconds after the open flame is removed, and has an operating temperature range of -15℃ to 70℃, adapting to various environments in buildings. And because they comply with RoHS standards, the insulation materials do not contain harmful substances such as lead and cadmium, making them more environmentally friendly.
The surface of the cable is printed with clear marks, including specifications, voltage level, RoHS certification mark, production information, etc., which is convenient for construction identification and quality traceability. Various colors (red, blue, yellow, etc.) can distinguish phase lines and neutral lines, reducing the risk of wiring errors. It is an ideal choice for building wiring that combines safety, environmental protection and practicality.
