12kv Awoc Overhead Cable ACSR Conductor Insulated Cable​ The 12kv AWOC (All Weather Overhead Cable) with ACSR (Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced) stands as a robust solution for medium-voltage aerial transmission. Merging ACSR’s strength with weather-resistant insulation, this cable excels in urban grids, rural feeders, and industrial peripheries where durability and efficiency are critical.​ ACSR conductors—aluminum strands wrapped around a steel core—balance conductivity (61% IACS) and tensile strength. The steel core enables spans up to 200 meters, resisting sag and wind damage, while aluminum ensures low energy loss. Insulated with UV-stable XLPE or EPR, it withstands -40°C to 90°C, moisture, and industrial pollutants—ideal for diverse climates from snowy regions to coastal areas.​ As an AWOC, it thrives in harsh weather, reducing outage risks during storms. The 12kv rating suits medium loads: residential blocks, small factories, and agricultural hubs. Compliant with IEC 60502 and ASTM, it undergoes dielectric and corrosion tests, guaranteeing reliability.
