It can maintain good insulation effect in high-temperature and high-pressure environments, effectively preventing current leakage.

As the outer insulation and protection material, PVC sheath has good processing performance and mechanical performance. It can not only further enhance the insulation effect of the cable, but also resist external mechanical damage, chemical corrosion and moisture intrusion. PVC material has relatively low cost and good weather resistance, making it suitable for use in various environments.

(IV) Production Process

The manufacturing process of Aluminum Conductors is similar to that of copper conductors. First, aluminum ingots are processed into aluminum rods, then drawn into Aluminum Wires, and then stranded. The insulation layer is manufactured by extrusion process. First, the XLPE material is heated and melted, and then evenly coated on the outside of the Stranded Conductor through an extruder to form the first insulation layer. During the extrusion process, it is necessary to strictly control temperature, pressure and speed to ensure that the insulation layer has uniform thickness, smooth surface, and is closely combined with the conductor, without bubbles, impurities and other defects. Subsequently, the core coated with the XLPE insulation layer is cross-linked, usually by means of warm water cross-linking or steam cross-linking, so that the XLPE molecules form a stable three-dimensional network structure, improving its temperature resistance and mechanical strength.
Next is the production of the armouring layer. High-carbon steel wires are wound on the outside of the Insulated Core through a special armouring machine according to a certain density and angle. During the winding process, it is necessary to ensure that the steel wires are arranged neatly and the tension is uniform, and the armouring density meets the requirement of ≥90% to ensure the protection effect of the armouring layer.
Finally, the outer PVC sheath is extruded. The PVC material is heated and melted, and then coated on the outside of the armouring layer through an extruder. It is also necessary to accurately control the process parameters to ensure that the sheath has uniform thickness, flat surface, and is closely combined with the armouring layer, playing a further protective role.
In the entire production process, multiple quality inspection procedures are set up. The diameter, resistance, tensile strength, etc. of the conductor are tested; the thickness, insulation resistance, temperature resistance, etc. of the insulation layer are tested; the density, adhesion, etc. of the armouring layer are inspected; the overall performance of the finished cable is tested by pressure test, mechanical performance test, etc. Only products that pass all inspections can leave the factory for sale.

II. From the Perspective of General Product Information

(I) Packaging

To ensure that the cable is not damaged during transportation and storage, this 3-core steel wire armoured cable adopts a reliable packaging method.
Cables are usually packaged in rolls. According to the length and weight of the cable, a strong wooden cable reel is selected. The wooden cable reel has the characteristics of high strength and good stability, and can withstand the weight of the cable and the impact force during transportation.
